Bayside United Premier Soccer Club, established in 1997, is a competitive youth soccer
club
serving Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Bayside
United is a member of
Rhode Island Youth Soccer which is
recognized by the United Status Soccer Federation.
Bayside
United runs under the direction of its originator Coach Stacey DeCastro providing
an
advanced program of coaching and competition to help student-athletes reach the
highest level of soccer and academia.
Bayside
United currently has teams that compete in the Sub-Region Premier League,
MAPLE
League, and the Massachusetts Soccer Conference League.
Our club has established competitive teams starting at U10 through U18 for both boys
and girls. Our goal is to increase
the number of teams and give players the opportunity
to
develop their skills to become the "Best That They Can Be".
Since our inception, we have compiled 40 State Championships, three Regional Semi-Finalists,
and countless Championships
at premier level tournaments. Over the years,
Bayside United players have had remarkable success at the collegiate level, making an impact
at schools such as Virginia Tech, University of New Hampshire, UMass Amherst,
University of Rhode Island, Holy Cross, University of West Virginia, UMass Amherst,
University of Virginia, Fairfield University, Hartford University, University of Maine,
Rhode Island College, Hobbart College, Brown University, Providence College, Wellesley College,
Boston College, as well as other Division I, II, and III schools.
Michael Parkhurst of the New
England Revolution, Nico Colaluca of the New England Revolution,
and Geoff
Cameron of the Houston Dynamo were players from Bayside United that were coached
by Stacey DeCastro and still continue to support the club and are an inspiration for all of our players.
